‚Women and men‘ content several big paintings of strong women, posing in the nature or in front of houses. One girl got several sisters and cousins, she is such a proud and confident human being, fixing the observer and looking straight out of the painting. This directness will be continued in the men paintings: one man is walking out of the painting, with a whit open shirt and suit, smiling with shining eyes, having just experiences something awesome. Also other men are posed in a quite frank manner enjoying moments alone or together.

Summer

The summer paintings show well known scenes out of everybody’s album. Delightful scenes, indefinite persons are playing in there. Scenes which shows the fruitful moment. You can imagine the before and after, you can anticipate what happens next.

Doublepainting

In the serie of the doublepaintings I react on old paintings which I collected over a long time. It is about adding the right subject with the right colour.
Regarding my photo archive and the already existing painting it became a play to choose the right theme.

Sometimes the interventions are very small and the old painting is supported by new colours, sometimes a new story is told by adding people. Mostly the new colour refreshs the original painting.
